Festive Family Ceilidh – 28 Dec – 7.30PM Paisley Town Hall
Why not celebrate the end of 2017 at the annual Festive Family Ceilidh with Clamjamfrie and enjoy an evening of traditional Scottish music and dancing for everyone to enjoy.

Family Bushcraft – 29 Dec – 10.30am – 12.30pm - Castle Semple Visitor Centre
For any budding Bear Grylls - Castle Semple is hosting a Family Bushcraft session where participants can pick up a range of survival skills including learning traditional fire lighting methods and cooking over a campfire.

The Big Adventure - Linwood
For families looking to keep their little ones entertained a visit to The Big Adventure in Linwood is just the ticket.
The multi-levelled soft play area offers a wide range of great activities catering for babies and toddlers all the way up to 12-year-olds.

Explore Gleniffer Braes Country Park
Outdoor enthusiasts can explore 480 acres of woodland, farmland and moorland at Gleniffer Braes Country Park where there are a number of way-marked walking paths running through the park.
Visitors can also take in the stunning views of Paisley, the Lower Clyde Valley and Ben Lomond as well as enjoying a trip to the Tannahill walkway and the Craigielinn waterfall where icicles can sometimes be seen hanging in the winter months.
New Year's Day on the slopes – 1 Dec - Snow Factor - Renfrew
Families can celebrate New Year’s Day on the slopes at Snow Factor, Soar Intu Braehead in Renfrew.
Enjoy a half day lift pass and a full Scottish breakfast to welcome in 2018. There will also be a special offer on family sledging sessions on this day.

The Experience – Hillington
If excitement is what you’re looking for take a trip to The Experience at Hillington Park offering a fun-filled day out for children and adults alike.

Paisley Abbey visitor experience
Why not use the festive break to explore one of Paisley’s most iconic visitor attractions?
The 850 year-old medieval Abbey is believed to have been the place where William Wallace was educated and is also the final resting place of six high stewards of Scotland including Marjory Bruce – the daughter of Robert the Bruce. This earned the abbey the title of Cradle of the Royal House of Stewart.
